CP Rail SD40-2s

Two 2017-run Bowser models of 1990s era CP SD40-2s from the 1984-85 order DRF-30w. Numbered 5865-79 and 6055-69, these were the last all-new conventional body SD40-2s made for CP Rail by General Motors. They were assigned to western Locotrol II master and receiver service and rarely left the mountains until 1998 when replaced by newer locomotives. Some of these units survive on CP today.
