ERRORS AND CLARIFICATIONS
Issue Q4 December 2021 VIA 6400-29:
Page 26 intro; delivery ended in July 1989 (not April).
Page 31 6407 and page 41 6423 captions; in VIA years train name was simply "Canadian" -- VIA did not continue CP's use of 'The' prefix after they took over the train in 1978.
Issue Q1 March 2022 VIA 6430-58:
Page 61 6453 and page 62 6454 captions; in VIA years train name was simply "Canadian" -- VIA did not continue CP's use of 'The' prefix after they took over the train in 1978.
Page 61 6453 and page 62 6455 captions; Montreal's Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT, now REM) leased various VIA units, not Amtrak.
Page 64 text; there were originally 59 VIA F40PH-2Ds, not 60.
Page 64 caption; Rapido Trains' illustration of the “original” version of these units is actually displaying the post-1998 revisions with cab roof air conditioner, bug shield, relocated radio antennas and bold “Canada” markings.
Page 64 table; units presently (2019+) decorated with 'love the way' wrap are 6402, 6416, 6420, 6427, 6436, 6437 and 6454. VIA 6445 received the wrap just as the issue was released in March 2022.
